NCEA Exam preparation course

Every year, in the first week of Term 3 school holidays Hagley College run ‘NCEA Preparation Course’ for refugee background students from year 11, 12 and 13 throughout Christchurch.

These classes will teach students the best way to successfully answer NCEA external assessments and prepare for upcoming examinations. The teachers will use past NCEA exams from English, Science and Mathematics. The skills taught will be useful in almost all other subjects.

Conditions:

• Places are limited so register early.
• Selection will be done by the College.
• Students who have regularly attended Multi-Ethnic Homework Centre will receive priority placing.
• This programme is funded by Ministry of Education and there is no cost to the students to attend.
• If you like your child to attend please complete the attached form or give us a call at the number below or approach one of staff members at the Homework Centre.
• Bring your own packed lunch.
