Hagley is incredibly successful! We excel in cultural aspects like drama, music and the arts. Academically we are right up there too! We transform student’s lives and their relationship with education, which shines through in Hagley’s success.

NCEA Achievement

  • We have the 2nd highest number of NCEA Level 3 awards in Canterbury.
  • Over 85% of Hagley full-time adolescent students gain their NCEA Level 2 or higher.

University Success

  • Over 150 Hagley students graduate from a New Zealand University every year.

Diversity

  • Winner of the 2014 NZ Diversity Award – for outstanding contribution to diversity and culture.

Enrolments

  • We enrol over 1000 new students into Hagley every year – that’s more than any other school in Canterbury.
